Edith Flack Ackley's Little Girl Doll

This is a doll made from a pattern by Edith Flack Ackley
"Edith Flack Ackley was a doll maker from the 1930's.
She encouraged women to sew dolls and sell them. Her dolls are simple and fun to make. Her legacy is in the many people today who still make and collect her dolls."

Beadelia Pattern

beadelia_pattern beadelia-2 Here is the free pattern for a beaded-hair doll.  It can be amended to represent any kind of doll.

You can adjust the pattern so that she is 4 1/2” to 5” tall and sew a brooch clasp on the back if you wish.

This is a cloth pin doll, so-called because she can be worn as a brooch.
The brooch clasp is sew on her shoulders at the back.

Her hair is beaded with individually sewn on seed beads.
She is about 4 1/2" tall.
